Netflix TV - Watch Netflix Movies Streaming to Your TV
Netflix Streaming to Your TV
If you're a movie buff like I am, then this new discovery with Netflix streaming to your TV (I know this has been out there awhile, but it's brand new to me) is totally cool.. It took me awhile to get on the streaming video bandwagon, but it was well worth the wait.. If you haven't taken advantage of this yet, or you already have a Netflix account and are only watching the DVD mailed version or watching only on your computer, you need to convert to watching on your TV.. And if you don't have a Netflix account, you really need to give this a shot..
Streaming to TV and Other Devices with Netflix - A How to Video
How Does It Work?
First, you'll need to subscribe to Netflix.. For $7.99 a month (this is the price as of 9/24/11), you'll get to instantly watch an unlimited supply of movies and TV shows that stream over the internet (through your wireless router system or direct connect) to your TV. This can be done through an Xbox 360, a Play Station 3 (PS3), Wii or even certain internet connected Blu Ray player systems (this is how I watch Netflix, through a Samsung Blu Ray DVD player) that streams from Netflix. And, you can watch instantly on your computer, as well..
Other devices that can work with Netflix are internet connected HD TVs such as LG, Samsung, Sony, Insignia and Vizio brands.. Also, mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone and Windows Phone.. Apple TV, Roku and Tivo systems also work with Netflix..

Why This Is So Great for a Family..
I have three kids (a girl, 8; and two boys, 7 and 4), and having the capability to access family appropriate movies and shows at any time is huge.. We have Friday night and Sunday night movie nights, and the choices include educational shows (we watched Sea Monsters the other night, which chronicled large ocean mammals and fish..), animated feature movies, TV kids series, and standard feature movies..
Just being able to gather the family together to spend time enjoying something is huge.. And this gives you that, at the touch of a button...
